We’re working hard behind the scenes to make sure that we can reopen safely. We want you to know that the well-being and safety of our guests and team is our absolute priority, and we’d like to assure you that we’re creating the safest environment possible in line with UK government advice. We’ve assessed every part of our offering; the spaces we provide, our team, the training given to them, our drinks and food and how we look after our guests. We are also having frequent health and safety assessments, as well as regular daily deep cleaning of the venue. For a more comprehensive list of how we are working to keep you safe, please see below.
Social Distancing Measures
Contactless ordering: We’re making it easy to order and pay from your mobile; order from the comfort of your table to avoid waiting at the bar.
Cashless payment only: We’re taking cashless payment only via card, apple pay or google pay. This is to minimise contamination for both our team and customers. Card payment and payment via an app require much less interaction and therefore reduce any chance of infection spreading.
Reduced capacity to help social distancing: We’re monitoring capacity throughout the day to allow for social distancing and the best possible guest experience.
Digital menus: Menus can now be viewed electronically with dedicated QR codes that allow guests to browse and make contactless payments from the comfort of their allocated table.
Health & Safety Principles
Risk assessment: has been completed and documented to demonstrate that we have looked at all COVID-19 hazards within the business and have introduced controls in order to operate safely.
Training: All team members have had full COVID secure training both on and offline, as well as clear back of house instructions to reassure and instruct on ways of keeping each other safe.
Staff wellness checks: All staff will complete daily wellness checks and anyone displaying symptoms of Covid-19 will be excluded from our venues.
Hygiene & Disinfection Measures
Surface cleaning regularly: Enhanced cleaning regimes have been implemented, particularly for hand-contact surfaces and in the toilet areas, using chemicals that are effective against viruses.
Managing venue flow: When you arrive at the venue, we might ask you to wait outside while another group leaves. You will then be taken straight to your table. When walking around the venue we ask our customers to look out for each other, waiting to let each other pass in narrower places and ensuring a 2m distance is kept. Our team will be on hand to ensure no crowding occurs and we ask you to respect this.
Cleaning tables: We thoroughly clean every table and chair used in between groups arriving, however if you have any concerns please ask to speak to a manager who will happily discuss this with you. If we’re able to do so, we will move you to a more suitable space, however we want to reassure you that each area is safely distanced to ensure reduced interaction with others.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): The Government have not explicitly stated it is required for employees or customers, however we have provided PPE for all our staff, should they wish to wear it.
Easily accessible hand sanitiser stations: We’re introducing a number of hand sanitiser stations around our venues for guests to use.
Guest hygiene: As with our staff, we politely request that all our guests uphold the highest possible hygiene standards – whether it be when sneezing or coughing, through regular hand washing or the frequent application of hand sanitiser.
